Identifying our Research Assets

The Milwaukee Institute is dedicated to advancing research, education and economic development through expansion and more effective use of available scientific and technology resources in the Great Lakes region.

As an independent not-for-profit organization, the goals of the Institute include promoting advanced technology development by offering high-performance computing and collaboration services that encourage and enable cooperation among public and private research and development organizations, businesses, educational institutions and government agencies.

Working within the Institute and at its affiliated institutions, researchers will be seeking solutions to important large-scale scientific, business and social problems relevant to the economic development objectives of the region, work guided by participants in the Industry Clusters identified on the left.
